Costumes. These provide no status changes

Swimsuits

After the doctor scene in Flanoir, speak to the woman standing in front of the inn of Altamira. You must then find her four children everywhere in the city.

- Jo: Far end of the beach.
- Beth: She is standing near the elemental railway at the Altamira amusement park. You need to speak to her, return to the mother and speak to her, and got back to talk to Beth again.
- Diana: She standing on the Inn's second floor, you must speak to her with Zelos or Kratos as your display character.
- Mary: She stands near the concession stand on the beach. You can only have her go back if you brought every other children home. If not, she will ignore you.

Afterwards, enter the inn and you'll recieve beach costumes. Those who will receive them are Lloyd, a selected friend and two other characters with a high relationship level. Note that Kratos cannot get a beach costume/title.

Formal Costumes

If you’ve saved the princess of Meltokio’s castle and are past the doctor event in Flanoir with Zelos in your party (If you are getting the Kratos ending, go right after you’ve seen the snow scene, don’t wait later!), you can return to Zelos’s Mansion and speak to Sebastion, the butler. The go to the castle and Lloyd will obtain the ¨Nobleman¨ title and costume. This title lets Lloyd wear his formal costume as much as he wants. Then you’ll find yourself in the reception hall of the dinner party. Talk to the receptionist. She’ll tell you that one of your party members is waiting for you. Choose a member to receive that person’s formal dress.

Affection:
Person you pick +3

In the ballroom, speak to three of your party members and you will acquire their formal dress. Then you’ll go and see the character whom you chose beforehand and get his/her title.

(If you didn't pick a character beforehand, the one with the highest affection will be there.) Again. Kratos gets no costume. Also of note is that Sheena, Zelos, Presea have a 6.25% chance of their weapon changing into a set of floral cards, a flower bouquet, and a stuffed rabbit respectively in battle with formal costumes equipped.
